Ghrishneshwar Mahadev Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Bholenath, has strict rules regarding clothing. Leather items are not allowed in the temple. While going to temples, men have to take off their upper clothes. Women have to wear traditional clothes.

Guruvayoor Krishna Temple

One of the famous temples of Lord Krishna, which is known for its religious and mythological importance. That is the famous Guruvayur Krishna temple of Kerala. To get entry into this temple, one has to follow the dress code. You cannot enter without it. Women are allowed entry wearing only saree and suit. If we talk about men, they get a chance to have darshan only wearing traditional lungi. Coming to the temple wearing western clothes is absolutely prohibited.
