Legend of Gajendra Moksha Stotra
The story of Gajendra Moksha is extremely inspiring and interesting. In ancient times, King Indradyumna was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. Once Maharishi Agastya came to his door, but the king was in a meditative state and could not appropriately welcome him. Enraged by this, Agastya Muni cursed him to become an elephant.
The curse was born as an elephant and he was called Gajendra. One day Gajendra went to bathe in a lake. Then a crocodile grabbed his leg and Gajendra started struggling with his force and power. When a lot of time passed and his power began to decrease, he meditated on Lord Vishnu and started praying to him.
Pleased with Gajendra’s extremely emotional praise, Lord Vishnu immediately appeared and killed the crocodile with his Sudarshan Chakra and freed Gajendra from the crisis. This praise is known as Gajendra Moksha Stotra. This story proves that the call of the devotee definitely reaches God, no matter what the vagina.
