Importance of Indira Ekadashi- The importance of Indira Ekadashi fast has been told by Lord Krishna himself to Dharmaraj Yudhishthira. According to the Puranas, by observing this fast, one gets freedom from Yamaloka. By observing this fast, the ancestors are liberated and the person becomes free from all sins.
When is Indira Ekadashi- This year Indira Ekadashi fast will be observed on 28 September 2024, Saturday.
Indira Ekadashi Pujan Muhurta- According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time for worship on Ekadashi will be from 04:36 am to 05:24 am. Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11:47 am to 12:24 pm.
Time of Rahukaal on Indira Ekadashi- Rahukaal on Indira Ekadashi will be from 09:11 am to 10:41 am.
Ekadashi Tithi from when to when – Ekadashi Tithi will start on 27 September 2024 at 01:20 pm and will end on 28 September 2024 at 02:49 pm.
Indira Ekadashi Vrat Parana Time- Indira Ekadashi Vrat Parana will be done on 29th September 2024, Saturday. The auspicious time for Vrat Parana will be from 06:12 AM to 08:35 AM.
What is eaten during Ekadashi fast- According to Hindu scriptures, Ekadashi fast can be observed on Jalaahaar or Nirahaar. Those who observe Phalaahaar fast consume only fruits. Whereas in Jalahaar fast, only water is consumed.
