Date and time of Jitiya fast-
According to the Hindu calendar, the Jitiya fast is observed every year on the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Ashwin. This year, the Ashtami Tithi will begin on Tuesday, September 24 at 12:38 pm and the Ashtami Tithi will end on Wednesday, September 25 at 12:10 pm. According to the same Udaya Tithi, the Jitiya fast will be observed on Wednesday, September 25.
The auspicious time for worship on this day is from 10:41 am to 12:12 pm and on Monday, September 24, the Nahai Khay Puja of Jitiya Vrat will be performed. According to religious beliefs, if Jitiya Vrat is observed, then all the troubles and obstacles coming to the children are averted and desired progress is also achieved.
