Amrit thoughts. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is going to start from June 30 and will continue till August. The journey was closed due to tension from China since 2020. Now in such a situation, a large number of Shiva devotees are expected to come at the beginning of the yatra this year. If you are also preparing to go to this journey, then you need to know how much you have to walk for this journey and how important fitness is for it.

Travel is not easy

For the visit of Kailash Mansarovar, the revolve of Mount Kailash has to travel 52 to 55 km. The journey is completed in 3 days, it starts from the 4,600 meters high Tarbocha Valley. After this, the Mansarovar Yatra includes the circumambulation of the lake which is spread over 320 sq km.

Triple process

Many medical tests are first done for this journey. For this, the Delhi Heart and Lung Institute runs a medical test program to check the fitness level of those who participate in this journey. BMI body mass index is considered to be 27 or less. In this test, hemoglobin, cholesterol, insulin tests are done. If you find unfit in this test, you will not be able to go to this journey.

It is important to stay fit during Kailash Mansarovar

-For the journey of Kailash Mansarovar, difficult inaccessible height has to go through, so it is very important to be physically fit. This causes your body temp according to the place in the mountains, which reduces the risk of disease related to the mountains and hypoxia.

-By staying fit during the journey, the energy in the body remains less tired. Your fit body helps in bumpy paths and bad weather in travel. And the risk of falling and slipping in the journey also decreases.

– Regular exercise should be included- jogging, cycling and walking before going for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Yoga, pranayama is also beneficial in this. Before the journey, you should practice the process of preparing to go on your height.
