We should hold firmly to our ancient traditions and values. If we distance ourselves from it in the name of modernity, then we will be cut off from our roots and our existence will cease to exist. Some Indian women, dressed in the garb of modernity and chasing western culture, are forgetting old traditions in the name of conservatism.
