Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Chaitra Shukla. The festival starts on Sunday and the day will end on April 7, the day. Temporary police post will be built at Chamunda temple
There will be a crowd of devotees in all the temples of the district in Chaitra Navratri. The maximum crowd lives at Chamunda Temple on Circular Road in Kasganj. From the very first day of Navratri here, queues of devotees start at dawn. In order to protect the devotees, a temporary police post has been built by the Kotwali police at the main gate of the temple. Police personnel will be on duty for 24 hours at this post, in which women police personnel have also been deployed.
Prices of fruits increased
As soon as the Navratri festival comes after Ramadan, the prices of fruits have also increased. Fruit prices have increased by up to 20 percent. Fruit seller Suresh says that the demand for fruits has increased due to the two festivals falling together, while prices have increased by about 30 percent due to increase in supply. He said that this is not local inflation, but the prices of fruits have increased simultaneously in the wholesale market itself.
