Soronji, Amrit Views: Rang Panchami Festival was celebrated with pomp in the city of Tirtha city of Lord Varaha. A procession of Lord Varaha was taken out under the aegis of Ganga Bhakta Samiti. The procession had a dozen tableaux. The statue of Lord Varaha, sitting on the chariot and the performance of Lathmar Holi by the artists, Radha-Krishna, who danced to the tune of the band-bajes, was the center of attraction of the procession. Devotees performed the aarti of Lord Varaha everywhere.
Social workers distributed sweets and cold
During the procession city tour, the procession was welcomed by devotees and social workers. Plain and cannabis cold stalls were set up at many places in the town. The special sweets of Holi, Gujhiya and other sweets were also distributed as Prasad. The youth tasted the cold of cannabis and swung in fun.

Songs like ‘Jeet Gaya Baba, Bulldozer Baba’, ‘Ho Gaya Dushman Ka Mouth Kala’, ‘Aaj Brij Mein Holi Re Rasiya’, ‘Rang Barse Bhigi Chunar Wali’ filled the youth.
Flowers and Abir-Gulal lasted from helicopter
In the Soron, the procession of Lord Varaha, which was taken out on Rang Panchami and the ‘Varaha Sang Holi Khelo’ program, was rained by helicopter and rains of Abir-Gulal. During this time, the pilgrimage city was drenched with colors. The villagers from the surrounding area also reached the Soron to see the helicopter.
