Kasganj, Amrit thoughts: Phalgun Shukla Ashtami looks Holashtak, eight days before Holi, who continues till Holika Dahan. During this period, all the Manglik works have been described as taboo. During this period, there is a law to chant and meditate, worship Lord Vishnu, Hanuman and Narasimha.
During this period, along with sixteen rites coming in Sanatan culture such as marriage ceremony, naming ceremonies, upanayana, janeu, mundan and piercing rites, as well as Bhoomi Pujan, House Construction and Entry, Inauguration of New Pratishthan, Buying new vehicle etc. should not be done auspicious and auspicious work. Acharya Pt Diwakar Pachauri said that only Trayodashi rites can be performed in the unavoidable situation.
This is the reason for auspicious tasks to be forbidden-

On Ashtami Tithi, on Moon Navami on Surya Dashami Tithi, Shani Ekadashi on Venus Dwadashi, Guru Trayodashi, is fierce on Mangal Purnima Tithi on Mangal Purnima Tithi on Guru Trayodashi.
All these planets have a bad effect on any auspicious work done during the period of Holashtak. Therefore, it is considered prohibited to do all auspicious work in these days.
Holashtak will start on this day
Acharya Pandit Diwakar Pachauri said that according to the Hindu calendar, the Ashtami of Phalgun Shukla Paksha begins on Thursday 6th March at 10:52 am, which will end on Friday 7 March at 9:19 am on Friday, March 7.
Holashtak will be considered from Friday 7 March, which will remain till 13 March. Holashtak will end with Holika Dahan in the night of March 13. Thereafter, Malamas will start from March 14, which will start marital work only after ending April 13.
