Prayagraj Kanwar Yatra 2025: The district administration and police have completed preparations for the Kavad Yatra in Prayagraj. The month of Sawan is going to start from July 11, in which a large number of devotees will reach Dashashwamedh Ghat of Sangam and take a dip of faith and fill Ganga water in Kavad.
Pucca Ghat is ready on Dashashwamedh Ghat
The pucca ghat at Dashashwamedh Ghat is ready, which will not cause any inconvenience to the devotees. DM Prayagraj Ravindra Kumar Mandad said that preparations have been completed on the instructions of the CM regarding the Kandar Yatra. After identifying the Kavad Yatra routes, where there were pits in the paths, they have been repaired with PWD and NHAI. Where the railing was broken on Shastri Bridge, it has also been fixed. The DM informed that the Kanwar Yatra will be completed in a smooth manner with the convenience. The roads in the major pagoda of the city have been repaired and light arrangements have been made. Necessary guidelines have also been given for cleanliness.
Strict guidelines for no new tradition start
DM said that this time no new tradition should start, strict guidelines have also been issued. Necessary guidelines have also been issued to ensure that the DJ’s height and sound limit remain with the Kanwari. The DM has clearly stated that meat and liquor shops on the Kavad Yatra routes will be completely closed. Water police and divers are being arranged at the ghats so that there is no accident with the devotees.
