Chief Minister Yogi reached the control room from four o’clock in the morning on the last bathing festival of Adityanath Mahakumbh. Due to his stay in Gorakhpur, a control room has been established for him in the Gorakhnath temple itself, where he was seen monitoring the bathing festival every moment. According to the government statement, earlier Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had held a meeting with the officials in the ‘War Room’ in the morning on the occasion of Basant Panchami and Magh Purnima Amrit bathing and monitored the situation.

The first bathing festival in Mahakumbh to be held every 12 years began on 13 January and devotees from every corner of the country are reaching Mahakumbh on Mahashivaratri. Pradeep Gupta, who came with his friend from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, took a dip in the Sangam. He said, “I want to get out of here as soon as possible because the crowd is growing a lot and there is a fear of getting caught in the crowd here.”

At the same time, Ajay Jain, who came from Delhi to take a bath to his old mother, somehow reached the octroi intersection and parked the car there and took a motorcycle and went to take the mother to bathe in Triveni Sangam. He had to face some trouble due to the declaration of ‘no vehicle zone’. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva played an important role in the churning of the ocean, causing the nectar urn from the sea churning and its drops where the Kumbh Mela falls there.

In the six bathing festivals of Mahakumbh Mela, three bathing festivals were of Amrit bath and they were held on January 14, Mauni Amavasya on 29 January and Basant Panchami on February 3, and all 13 akhadas have gone away from the fair by bathing Amrit. In view of the huge crowd of devotees at the Mahakumbh Mela, the fair and the district administration declared a ‘no vehicle zone’ in the district and fair area on the eve of Mahashivaratri. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) (Kumbh) Vaibhav Krishna told, “We have made extensive arrangements at five major pagoda in the fair area to handle a crowd of devotees. We are likely to be more crowded on Wednesday than on Tuesday. ”
