Barabanki, Aramat View: Preparations have started to give a grand appearance to the Lodheshwar Mahadeva Temple in Ramnagar in the district on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. On Wednesday, District Magistrate Shashank Kumar Tripathi inspected the construction site and took stock of the demolition and other ongoing works.
Giving information related to the project, the tourism department informed that a 12 -meter -high grand temple summit will be built in the proposed Mahadeva Corridor. The temple will have four attractive entrances, while a two -storey building will also be constructed. Shops, administrative offices, meeting halls, rain shelters, toilets and other basic facilities will be provided for the devotees in the building.
During the inspection, the DM also inspected the Amrit Sarovar pond near Ramnath Kuti. Steel barricading, bathing ghats and beautification work are proposed around the lake. A special withdrawal route will also be built for the convenience of devotees. Officials of the tourism department said that the entire project will be completed within two years. District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi said that this corridor, which is developing as a dream project of the state government, will give a new direction to religious tourism in Ramnagar region.
During this time, along with the inspection, there was a meeting of officers, in which the outline of the corridor and the upcoming action plan were discussed in detail. Preparations for the foundation stone have been completed and soon Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will duly inaugurate the work after seeing the auspicious time.
