Barabanki, Amrit Vichar: DM Shashank Tripathi and SP Arpit Vijayvargiya inspected the preparations for the Lodheshwar Mahadev fair on Monday. He first visited the fair auditorium and Bahonia ponds. The DM instructed the Executive Officer of the Nagar Panchayat for interlocking and the paint of toilets. He asked to build barricading, lighting, ramps and changing rooms on the Bahonia pond. The DM asked the Executive Engineer of the flood section to fill water in the pond, deploy ambulances and ensure arrangements for divers.
During the inspection, the DM expressed displeasure over the use of weak balls in the barricading being carried out by the District Panchayat and reprimanded the officials working on Mokay. He instructed the AMA for better barricading. SDM and CO were assumed to monitor the work. The DM instructed to clean the Abharan Sarovar and get a strong net. Asked to improve cleanliness, electricity and water system in the toilets located behind the school. Also, ordered to replace the high mask lights closed in the temple premises and to install a trap under the dilapidated balcony of the Mahant’s palace.
He asked to pay special attention to the cleanliness of the water green pool and instructed to send stray animals from the fair premises and send them to Gaushala. He said that whatever deficiencies have been identified during inspection, they should be removed immediately on priority basis. The District Magistrate said that social workers should be motivated to arrange refreshments, drinking water etc. on the way for Kavadis. The SP instructed all the security personnel to stay in alert mode.
During this, ADM Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, ASP Vikas Chandra Tripathi, CMO Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Yadav, Executive Engineer Flood Block Shashikant Singh, SDM Vivekshil Yadav, CO Garima Pant, District Nodal Officer Love Bhushan Gupta, BDO Ramnagar Jitendra Kumar, Suratganj Devendra Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Vipul Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Vipul Kumar Singh, In -charge Inspector Ramnagar Anil Kumar Pandey Tiwari Tiwari, Inspector Ramnagar Anil Kumar Pandey Tiwari Santosh Kumar Tripathi, village head Mahadeva Rajan Tiwari, Neerad Pandey, Bhagauti Prasad, village head Rajan Tiwari from Food Department and concerned departmental officers were present.
Trouble with hot stone in Dhoom: During inspection, the regional people told the DM that lakhs of devotees at the fair gather for worship at Lodheshwar Mahadeva. In the scorching sun, devotees are engaged in queue for hours on the stone in the temple complex. Due to which there is a lot of trouble. If the mat is put on the floor or if the tinshed is placed for the shade over the barricading, you will get a lot of convenience. The DM also instructed the officials regarding this.
