Barabanki: The program of Lord Parashuram appearance and Akshaya Tritiya was organized at Baba Pancham Das Kuti Dussehra Bagh. Minister of State of Uttar Pradesh Satish Chandra Sharma was the chief guest at the event organized by the Brahmin Kalyan Samiti. The program was inaugurated by Pandit Sitakant Mishra with Kalash, Gauri Ganesh, Navagraha and Prithvi Pujan. After this, a havan named Lord Vishnu Sahastra was performed for public welfare. Minister of State Sharma garlanded the portrait of Lord Parashuram and worshiped Tilak.
Committee officials honored many dignitaries including Minister of State Sharma by giving a picture of Lord Parashurama. Among them were National President of Primary Teachers Association, Sushil Pandey and Chairman of Advocate Council Kaushal Kishore Tripathi. Minister of State Sharma said in his address that Brahmins should follow the ideals of Lord Parashurama. He remembered the tradition of renunciation and penance of Brahmins, giving the example of Maharishi Dadhich and Chanakya.
He called upon the Brahmin society to unite and give a new direction to the society with his values. Many poets also recited poetry in the program. Many poets including Ram Kishore Tiwari, Vinay Shukla, Sitakant Mishra Swayambhu presented compositions on the glory of Lord Parashurama. Many dignitaries including Brahmin Kalyan Samiti Chairman Ramesh Chandra Tiwari and General Secretary Desh Deepak Mishra were present in the program.
