Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: The Kartik fair which the people of Lucknow eagerly wait for. That is going to happen soon. A meeting was held at Rooprani Vastralaya in Chinhat regarding the organization of the fair to be held on the banks of Gomti on Kartik Purnima. In which the responsible officials of Kartik Mela Committee expressed their views. Fair Committee Chairman Suresh Yadav said that even before this a meeting was held in which the dates were announced. He told that this fair is organized on Kartik Purnima after Diwali. This time many new arrangements will be organized in this fair.
He told that the fair is to be organized from 15th to 18th of November. In which the fair will start with the worship of Gomti on the banks of Gomti on the first day. As usual, Gomti Puja will be conducted by Mahant Devya Giri of Mankameshwar Temple, only after which this fair will be inaugurated. He said that apart from Mahant Devya Giri, patron former MLA Rajendra Yadav, MP RK Choudhary and Samajwadi Party state president Shyamlal Pal and all the officials of the fair committee will be present on the first day.
