Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Vivah Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Margashirsha. This time the marriage is on Panchami 6. Panchami Tithi will start on December 5 at 12:49 AM and will end the next day on December 6 at 12:07 AM. Astrologer SS Nagpal of Swastik Astrology Center tells that this year on Panchami, Shravan Nakshatra, Shiva Yoga is being formed which will last throughout the day. Dhruva Yoga is being formed. This yoga will end at 10.43 am. Sarvartha Siddhi and Ravi Yoga are also being formed.
According to beliefs, the marriage of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita took place on this day in Treta Yuga. This festival is also celebrated especially in Nepal and Mithila region. During this time, celebrations are held in homes and temples and the traditional alliance of Ram and Sita is performed.
