Madhukar Kumar Bhagat, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that smart e-health and e-learning have great importance in the health sector. He described technology-based digital health services as a revolutionary step for the future. He said that in the era of communication revolution, this technology in the health sector is providing health related advice to the patients at their homes. He said that the future belongs to e-health technology.
AIIMS Director Prof. Meenu Singh gave information about the plans of the Center of Excellence run by the organization. The e-learning education offered by the institute under the National Medical College Network is said to be especially beneficial for the faculty members and medical students. Also, he enumerated the benefits of the organization’s drone-based medical services under e-health, tele-consultation, outreach centres, tele-follow-up and other schemes under tele-education and e-smart learning.
