Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Prayagraj at 1.00 pm on Monday afternoon to take stock of the preparations for Mahakumbh starting from January 13. This is the fourth arrival in Prayagraj regarding the preparation of Mahakumbh. Even before this, the Chief Minister had come to Prayagraj thrice and taken stock. CM Yogi reached the helipad at DPS Ground located at Prayagraj Naini Fair by helicopter at 1 o’clock on Monday. Where he inspected the tent city. CM Yogi took complete information about 10 cities from the officials. CM Yogi has given strict instructions to the officials to complete the preparations for Mahakumbh soon. After this, CM reached Dashashwamedh Ghat, performed milk anointment of clean Ganga, offered prayers and performed aarti. Yogi Yogi sat and reviewed the various preparations with all the departmental officers including the Fair Officer in ITripalsi and took information about the works.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Prayagraj DPS Ground at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon to take complete stock of the preparations for Mahakumbh 2025. Where he took stock of the tent city being built in Arail. Yogi Adityanath took complete information about the city’s facilities in April. The Chief Minister expressed his displeasure by reprimanding the officers and issued strict instructions to complete the work quickly. After this, CM Yogi reached Dashashwamedh Ghat located in Daraganj. There, Ganga was worshiped and Aarti was performed by anointing Ganga with milk, after which CM Yogi reached the fair authority office. Where he sat with officials of other departments including fair officer Vijay Kiran Anand and reviewed the preparations for Mahakumbh. CM Yogi held a meeting with the officials for about an hour. After this, CM Yogi came to inspect Subedarganj Setu and the biggest hospital of the division, Swaruprani Nehru Hospital. There he saw the entire arrangements of the hospital along with the superintendent.
The Chief Minister took complete information about the projects from the officials in the meeting. In which report was sought on construction of River Front, Nagvasuki Mandir Ghat, Daraganj Sangam area, Alopi Bagh flyover platoon bridge. In the meeting, he took complete information about the works going on in the city and on the Sangam bank under Maha Kumbh. Cabinet ministers Swatantra Dev Singh, AK Sharma, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, MP Praveen Patel, MLC Surendra Chaudhary, MLA Siddharth Nath Singh, Harshvardhan Bajpai, Deepak Patel, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani were present along with the CM.
CM Yogi inspected SRN
CM Yogi Swaroop reached Rani Nehru Hospital and saw the newly constructed OPD building. He said that it should be started soon for the patients. He also inspected the unit on the campus. During this, he instructed the doctors to provide better treatment to the patients coming to Mahakumbh. During this, Principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College Dr. Vatsala Mishra, Chief Superintendent Dr. AK Saxena, Deputy Chief Superintendent Gautam Tripathi, Dr. Manoj Mathur, Dr. Tariq Mahmood, Dr. RB Kamal, Mohit Jain and other medical officers were present.
Yogi said- Ganga river front will be seen here for the first time
Yogi spoke to the media at the fair office. Yogi said- People will see the river front of Mother Ganga here for the first time. He said that the construction work of the jetty is going on at a fast pace. The Health Department has established a temporary hospital with 100 beds. Apart from this, 25 bedded hospitals are being built at different places. Devotees coming to Prayagraj for the first time will get to see many tableaux through the corridor. People will see Akshayvat Corridor and Late Hanuman Ji Temple Corridor in grandeur for the first time. Along with this, Saraswati Well Corridor has also been prepared.
Disaster support will be deployed for the first time
CM Yogi said that central and state government departments are working together on war footing in Mahakumbh. For the first time, Aapda Mitras are being deployed in the Maha Kumbh Mela. Disaster support along with NDRF and SDRF will also provide full support to the devotees in the fair.
Maha Kumbh will be protected in seven layers
Major preparations have been made for the safety of devotees in Mahakumbh. On Monday, Director General of Police Prashant Kumar, through a press conference regarding the preparations, explained the complete planning to make the Maha Kumbh event a success. He told how the devotees coming to the Kumbh Mela will be protected and supported. He told that arrangements have been made in seven layers for the safety of people in Mahakumbh. For this preparation, we will protect people by purchasing security equipment worth Rs 200 crore. 40 to 50 crore people are going to reach Prayagraj in 45 days. Whose preparations are being completed, the first date post Purnima is 13 January, the second Makar Sankranti is on 14 January, Shahid name, the third Modi Amavasya Shahi Snan will be on 29 January, the last date will be on 3 February on Basant Panchami.
After that, Maha Kumbh will conclude with Maa Purnima on 12th February and Mahashivratri on 26th February. He said that equipment worth Rs. 200 crores is being procured for the security of Mahakumbh. In which along with manpower, CCTV, third drone and last drone system are being installed. Equipment has just been purchased to ensure safety of facilities in case of any disaster and to avoid drowning of people. Tight security will also be maintained at the interest rate and international border so that devotees can come to visit Sangam Snan as well as Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Ayodhya Ram Temple, Vindhyachal Corridor.
Invaluable opportunity to make Maha Kumbh a success story and branding of the city: CM
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also spoke to journalists while reviewing the preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. On this occasion, he said that preparations for Mahakumbh are going on war footing. CM Yogi also called upon the people of Prayagraj to turn this occasion into a success story and cooperate for branding of Prayagraj. CM Yogi said that preparations for Maha Kumbh, the biggest gathering of Sanatan Gaurav, are going on war footing. Till now, more than 20 thousand saints and organizations as well as other organizations have been registered here and linked with land allotment. In this, action has been taken to allot land to all the 13 Akharas, Dandiwada, Acharya Wada as well as Prayagwal Sabha and Khak Chowk etc. The remaining people are also being linked to the land allotment process. Along with other institutions, there are also new institutions to which efforts are being made to allot land by January 5. Adequate arrangements for land and other types of facilities are being made by the double engine government.
CM appeared satisfied with the work
CM said that in Mahakumbh, the number of pontoon bridges is increasing from 22 to 30, out of which 20 have been ready so far and every effort is being made to make all 30 pontoon bridges ready by 30. A total of 651 kilometers of checkered plates were to be laid here, out of which 330 kilometers of checkered plates have been laid so far. Its work is also going on war footing and it will also progress in a time bound manner. The work of installing signages is also going on war footing. Till now, 250 signages have been installed in the fair area, while the work of installing signages has been done at 661 places inside the city also. Extensive work is also being done here by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam. In particular, this effort is being made by the Irrigation Department to ensure that the uninterrupted and clear Ganga is visible and sufficient quantity of water is available at the confluence. You must be seeing that compared to other years, this time Mother Ganga and Mother Yamuna have shown great blessings and there is sufficient amount of water available. Not only this, the water is pure and suitable for bathing and bathing. To ensure that no sewer, industrial effluent, or any drainage falls into the river, not only are STPs functional at various places, but a program for their purification through bioremediation and geo tubes is also ensured here. River front and ghat will be ready by 30th December
CM Yogi said that 85 sub-stations of 400 KVA are being established here by the Power Corporation for 24-hour power supply, out of which 77 have been established. Out of 14 substations of 250 KVA, 12 have been installed. Out of 128 sub-stations of 100 KVA, 94 have been installed. LT line 1160 km, HT line 160 km and about 48000 LED street lights have been installed so far. Here people will get to see the river front of Mother Ganga for the first time. River front and concrete ghats have been built for the first time in Prayagraj. Similarly, a ghat is being built in Arail also and efforts are being made to make that ghat ready by 30th December. CM said that all the permanent and temporary works which were to be done are being carried out on war footing. The construction work of the jetty is going on war footing. The health department has also set up a temporary hospital with 100 beds. Apart from this, 25 bedded hospitals are being built by the Health Department at different places. First aid box facility is being provided here.
