Amrit Vichar, Prayagraj: Director of UNESCO (Bhutan, India, Maldives and Sri Lanka) Tim Curtis took a bath at Sangam here on Wednesday and wished world peace. He reached the camp of Parmarth Niketan in Arail here and took a dip in the confluence in connection with Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati.
According to a release by Parmarth Niketan, Swami Chidanand and Sadhvi Bhagwati thanked UNESCO for the inclusion of the Kumbh Mela in 2017 in the list of abstract cultural heritage and presented the statue of Lord Shiva and Rudraksha’s plant to Kartis Greeted. Prayagraj Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba, Mandalayukta Vijay Vishwas Pant, Chief Development Officer Gaurav Kumar and other officials were present on the occasion.
According to the release, Tim Curtis discussed in detail the topics of environmental protection, climate change, global peace and security with Swami Chidanand and Sadhvi Bhagwati. He gave information about UNESCO efforts and work done for global security. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a major global organization that promotes world peace and security through education, culture, science and communication.
