An official statement said that the state government has tightened arrangements and increased security measures to ensure easy access to the temple for Jalabhishek. On the first Monday of Shravan, devotees and devotees will be welcomed with flower rain on the red carpet. Vishwabhushan Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, said that on the first Monday of Shravan, special adornment of Lord Shiva’s procession will be done. A German hangar and additional shed have been arranged to protect the visitors from rain, heat and sunlight. Glucose water, ORS solution and drinking water will be distributed at regular intervals. There will also be jaggery distribution counter to keep the devotees energetic. A lost-foot center with multilingual staff will help visitors. “For health-related emergency conditions, 5 medical teams will be deployed at various places in Dham. Two ambulances, including an ambulance equipped with advanced life-saving system, will remain on standby.
In Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the first Monday of Shravan month will begin on 14 July 2025 with Mangala Aarti of Lord Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Rituals inside the sanctum sanctorum will be broadcast live on the LED screen installed at six other places including Dham and railway stations, Godoulia intersection and ghats. Darshan will also be broadcast live on YouTube, so that devotees from all over the world will be able to see Baba Vishwanath during the month of Shravan.
At the same time, Varanasi Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal said that a lane of Prayagraj-Varanasi road will be reserved for Kanwari. He informed that ten quick response teams will be deployed round the clock. Will monitor 200 CCTV cameras and eight drone sector. More than 20 motorcycle patrols will be deployed for security and mob management and about 1,500 policemen will be on duty throughout the day.
