Amrit Vichar Mahakumbh Nagar: To give a divine, grand, clean, safe and organized form to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the Yogi government of the state is taking the help of technology and innovation. Mahakumbh is being given a digital format. This saves time, increases economy and transparency. Now 13 Akharas carrying the flag of Sanatan Dharma have also followed the same footsteps of the government. In the digital age, Akharas are also being digitalised.
The 13 Akharas carrying the flag of Sanatan Dharma are moving forward step by step with time while preserving their respective rich religious traditions. In the present era of digital era, these Akharas have also started taking the help of digitalization in their management. The Akharas are preparing their own data base. Mahant Jamuna Puri, Secretary of Shri Panchayati Akhara Maha Nirvani, says that both computers and ledgers are being used in our Akhara. This helps a lot in the audit of the Akhara. Whatever records have to be maintained for income tax filing are kept in this data base. Through this the file is shared to the chartered account. Someshwaranand Brahmachari, General Secretary of Shri Panch Agni Akhara, says that audits of our Akharas are conducted in Mahakumbh. There was a time when we used to provide information for audit through ledgers but now we all have gadgets. Our Akhara also runs a Sanskrit school. We collect complete information about the number of students in these schools and the income and expenditure of the school through this data base.
Data base of Akharas will give impetus to global campaigns of Akharas
The 13 Akharas of Sanatan Dharma are not only propagators and spreaders of spirituality, devotion and sadhana, but many global campaigns are also being run by their Acharyas at the global level. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Arun Giri ji of Avahan Akhara says that along with religion, the saints are also working to save humanity. Under this, he is running a campaign to plant trees for environmental protection at the global level, for which he is also making a data base. This saves their time, establishes transparency and also helps in management.
Useful in strengthening the roots of Sanatan among the deprived society.
The data base will prove useful in establishing closeness of Sanatan Dharma with tribal and deprived society. Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Pranavanand Saraswati of Shri Panchayati Akhara Maha Nirvani says that for exploration and expansion, the Akharas will have to accept it as per the digital age. He says that his experience of his tribal development journeys of awakening the tribal society and connecting them with the tradition of Sanatan Dharma is also that to strengthen the roots of Sanatan Dharma in the deprived society, collecting their information and preparing its database is a Needed. He himself is trying for this.
Vaishnav Akharas will also create their own data base
Vaishnav Akharas also have agreed to create a data base, but due to some technical problems, the Akharas are saying that it will be implemented in the future. Shri Mahant Ram Ji Das of All India Shri Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara says that unlike the Akharas of Sanyasi sect, Vaishnav Akharas do not have their own trusts. Therefore they do not need audit. But it is the reality of the present era that in the race of digital era, Vaishnav Akharas will also have to create data bases of their own Akharas.
