Bahraich, Amrit Vichar: On the instructions of Social Welfare Minister, 30 elders from the district reached Prayagraj Mahakumbh on Tuesday. Where everyone took a bath in the Amrit in Triveni Sangam and took a dip.
In fact, on the instructions of Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun, 30 destitute senior citizens living in the old age home of Bahraich have been bathed in Mahakumbh on Tuesday. All the senior citizens have been brought from the district to the temporary ashram of the Social Welfare Department built in the Kumbh area by the bus. Social Welfare Officer Rama Shankar Gupta informed that a 100 -bed temporary ashram has been set up by the Social Welfare Department for the first time in Kumbh area. An ashram of 100 bed capacity has also been prepared for senior citizens in the camp.
In this ashram, arrangements are being made by the Social Welfare Department for free food, traffic and stay for senior citizens. Doctors have also been deployed in the camp for the health test of senior citizens. Here the morning starts with yoga. Senior citizens staying in the ashram are accompanied by yoga and meditation in the morning. After that, senior citizens take part in the program of Bhajan, Kirtan. A glimpse of social harmony is also seen in the camp of Social Welfare Department.
