Mahakumbh Nagar, Amrit Vichar: There has been no shortage in the enthusiasm of the devotees who took a dip of virtue at the confluence of Pavini Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati on the occasion of Mahakumbh. On the banks of Triveni, the inundation of devotees seems to be dissolving in the sea of faith. Mother Ganga is ending the fatigue of the journey and the fatigue caused by walking in her area and ending it in minutes and it is clearly visible on the faces of the devotees returning home by taking a holy dip.
From dawn to 10 am on Friday, 56 lakh 72 thousand devotees, including one million Kalpavis, had taken a holy bath in Triveni, which has increased to 29 crore 64 lakhs so far in Mahakumbh. Meanwhile, the Prayagraj district administration has made it clear that there is no restriction on the entry of vehicles in Prayagraj except the fair area.
District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar said that ‘diversion scheme’ (entry and exit of vehicles) is being removed from Prayagraj Commissionerate. Earlier on Thursday morning, the entry of vehicles in the fair area was banned. He said, “An information on social media is becoming increasingly viral that the entry of vehicles in Prayagraj will be banned till February 4. This news is completely baseless.
The entry of vehicles in Prayagraj (diversion scheme) was banned in view of Mauni Amavasya, which is being removed from the 30th. The entry of vehicles in Prayagraj on 31 January, February 1 and February 4 will be smooth, while in view of Basant Panchami Snan festival, the entry of vehicles in the city will be prohibited on February 2 and 3. As far as the fair area is concerned, the instructions given by the fair administration will be valid for this.
