Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: The spiritual city Mahakumbh is rapidly getting established on the sands of the confluence of Tirtharaj Prayagraj. Preparations including checkered plate roads, electricity, water, pontoon bridge, thatched huts, cottages and other preparations have started on a large scale. Here during the Mahakumbh, Katha, discourse, Ramleela, Raasleela, Havan, Yagya, Bhandara and other programs will continue in which crores of devotees, bathers and Kalpvasis participate and earn eternal virtues. The biggest thing is that all the major roads of the fair area are named after Gods, Goddesses and Mahatmas.
Preparations for Mahakumbh – 2025 have started on a large scale on the Sangam banks of Tirtharaj Prayagraj. The fair area is being spread over 4100 hectares of land and 25 sectors. 30 pontoon bridges are being built on Ganga and Yamuna rivers to allow people to reach the fair area. Arrangements of 1.5 lakh toilets have been made for cleanliness in the fair area. Hoardings have been put up in the fair area regarding the development schemes run by the Central and State Government and the development works being done in the Maha Kumbh Mela area. For the safety of devotees and bathers in the fair area, arrangements have been made at 50 police stations and fire brigades at five dozen places for fire prevention. More than five dozen tubewells have been installed to quench the thirst of crores of people. Arrangements for 24-hour power supply have been made. Arrangements have been made to ensure that electricity supply will not be affected during the fair. A two-lane stone road is being built around the fair area. Construction of permanent ghats is going on at Sangam, Daraganj, Baluaghat, Arail and other ghats. The construction of the corridor at Akshaya Vat, Bade Hanuman Temple, Alopibagh Temple and Bhardwaj Park is in the final stage. Bamrauli Airport has been expanded. Construction of flyovers at Chowfatka, IIT and Alopibagh is going on in the final stage while construction of Salori, Begum Bazar and Bakshi Dam flyovers is going on in the final stage.
The Maha Kumbh Mela area is being set up in a total of 25 sectors. Camps of prominent saints, mahatmas and institutions are being organized in every sector. Major names of the fair area of Mahakumbh are named after Gods, Goddesses and Mahatmas such as Triveni Marg, Mahavir Marg, Kali Marg, Nagavasuki Marg, Harishchandra Marg, Sangam Lower Marg, Mukti Marg, Surdas Marg, Bhardwaj Marg, Ramanand Marg, Akshay Marg. Vat Marg, Samudra Kupa Marg and others. Thousands of saints and mahatmas from India and abroad have started setting up camps in Mahakumbh. Major among them are Juna Akhara, Niranjani Akhara, Digambar, Nirmohi, Udaasin and other Akharas. National President of All India Dandi Sanyasi Parishad, Peetadhishwar Swami Brahmashram Maharaj says that a spiritual city is being established on the sands of Sangam. Here people are engaged in Bhagavad Bhajan, Havan and food gathering. He said that crores of people from across the country and abroad come to the sands of Sangam to attain faith, belief and salvation. Jagadguru Swami Narayanacharya Shandilya Ji Maharaj of Shringverpur Dham says that Tirtharaj Prayagraj has been the abode of Lord Brahma. He said that Lord Brahma had performed a huge yagya in the holy place Prayagraj before the beginning of the creation. In the month of Magh, Ardh Kumbh and Maha Kumbh, all thirty-three crore goddesses and gods reside in Tirtharaj Prayagraj.
Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Swami Himangi Sakhi Maa, who recites Shrimad Bhagwat in the first five languages of the world, says that just by attending the Mahakumbh of Tirtharaj Prayagraj, the doors of salvation open. While doing Kalpavas here, one attains inexhaustible virtue by chanting Bhagavad Bhajan, performing Havan and running food fields. Respected Gurudev of Om Namah Shivay, who runs the largest Annakshetra in Magh Mela, Ardh Kumbh and Maha Kumbh, says that the confluence area of Tirtharaj Prayagraj is the sacred place of worship and service. Those who do service and penance by coming here get the benefit of infinite virtue, in such a situation every Sanatani must visit Tirtharaj Prayagraj. Secretary of Harishyam Human Welfare Education and Research Institute Prayagraj and senior social worker Rajeev Kumar Mishra says that a large number of saints, mahatmas and crores of devotees from the country and abroad participate in a divine, grand event like Mahakumbh, due to which Sanatan Dharma Is strongly protected. He said that Tirtharaja Prayagraj had great importance in Sanatan Dharma since ancient times, which is still there today.
