Mahakumbh Nagar, Amrit Vichar: After the accident on Mauni Amavasya in Mahakumbh, special arrangements are being made to control the crowd on Maghi Purnima and protect the devotees. On Maghi Purnima bathing festival, paramilitary forces will be installed at all ghats. Preparations for this bathing festival to be held on February 12 have already been started.
On February 12, the police and administration have made a new plan to make the Maghi Purnima bath festival safely, in which paramilitary forces will be deployed at the major bathing ghats of the Ganges including Sangam. It will be strict security of the main roads and major intersections through paramilitary forces, which will be able to control the crowd. Police and PAC personnel will also be deployed along with them.
Admission will be available in the fair
In the rules that are being made on the special arrangement being made on Maghi Purnima, media personnel, officers and social workers will be given admission in the fair through a pass. Officials have issued strict instructions for vehicles entering from barricading. The instruction clearly states that no train will enter the fair without a nearby. For this, this decision has been taken during the meeting at the Integrated Control and Command Center of the Fair Authority Office built in Mahakumbh Mela area.
It has also been told in the meeting that in view of the crowd, the pantoon bridges will be opened only to the devotees on foot. ADG Zone Prayagraj Bhanu Bhaskar, Mandalayukta Vijay Vishwas Pant, Police Commissioner Commissioner Prayagraj Tarun Gaba, IG Range Prem Gautam, Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand, DIG Mahakumbh Vaibhav Krishna, SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi were present in the meeting.
