Kurukshetra, nectar of thoughts. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday attended the Aathan, Batis Dhuni and Shankhadhal Bhandara program organized at Dera Siddh Baba Garibnath Math in Pehowa. He addressed the saints and devotees who had come here from all over the country. Inviting everyone to Prayagraj Mahakumbh, he said that this biggest event of Sanatan Dharma will be bigger and grander than all the previous Kumbhs. Yogi Adityanath also congratulated Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who was present at the programme, on his victory in the assembly elections.
Expressing special gratitude to the people of the state, Yogi Adityanath said that by re-electing the double engine government in the state, the people of Haryana have proved Lord Krishna’s proclamation ‘Paritranaya Sadhunam, Vinashaya Cha Dushkritam’. The people of Haryana have shown what the Janardhan form of the public is like. Yogi Adityanath said that the ultimate duty is to protect the good power and send the evil power into the abyss. Discussing the two causes of religion, Abhyudaya and Nihashreyas, he said that without following Abhyudaya, attaining Nihashrayas is not possible.
Explanation of two reasons of religion ‘Abhyudaya’ and ‘Nihshreyas’
Yogi Adityanath said that there are two purposes of religion, the first is for prosperity and the second is for faithlessness. Abhyudaya means worldly progress, in which we combine our energy with public welfare as per our capacity. For this we will have to take the right decision. Good saints will be needed in the religious field. Right people have to be chosen for development. If you choose good people, the results will also be good. The people of Haryana have taken a good decision. This is the land of Karmayoga of Lord Krishna. The consequences of those who have done bad will also be bad. The second reason is to be creditless. A Yogi or a virtuous householder can never attain Nihreyas by forgetting his Abhyudaya. When we work selflessly for worldly progress, we will see the results in the same form. This will not only lay the foundation for development in this world and fulfillment of the wishes of the people, after this it will also pave the way for our liberation. These are the two wishes of religion. Since ancient times, saints have been meeting with these wishes in mind. The special events that happened from time to time through the divine great men who graced this earth became our festivals and festivals.
Mahant Shernath Ji Maharaj has brought ‘Chaman’ to Pehowa.
While narrating his memoirs, he mentioned the bhajan of revered Guru Shritriloknath Babu ji of Gurugorakhnath Ashram in Junagadh and said that ‘Saint is married, always remains happy, goes to the world where he always worships’. Yogi Adityanath said that from this place of Pehowa, the tradition of incarnation of Yogi Satyanath ji spread across the country. But the situation here was not good for the last four generations. But it is a matter of happiness that Mahant Shernath ji has awakened new faith in the minds of the devotees by bringing ‘Chaman’ not only in Pehowa but also in the ruined holy places of Muzaffarnagar and Shamli and embodying the sentiments of the Siddhas. This holy land, which was going towards decline for four generations, is moving towards rise after the arrival of a Yogi. This is the holy place of Garibnath Ji, a famous Siddha Yogi of Nath sect.
Religion does not mean migration
Yogi Adityanath said that this event is being held on the banks of Mother Saraswati. The Government of Haryana is doing the work of rejuvenating the Saraswati River with full commitment. Now it is the responsibility of the saints and the common people to make collective efforts for this. Saving every drop of water, purification of water, tree plantation work, natural and cow-based farming will be the basis for rejuvenating this river. We have to discharge our responsibilities towards the rivers of India. He said that religion does not mean migration. No Yogeshwar called migration as religion. Saint Adi Shankaracharya, born in Kerala, established four Peethas through public awareness and debate in four corners of the country. Today we are seeing the country in the same form in front of all of us.

Preservation of heritage, hope for a bright future
Referring to Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Yogi Adityanath said that earlier even 10 devotees could not gather together there, but today 50 thousand devotees can gather together. Similarly, Lord Shri Ram is seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya after 500 years. Similarly, the Mahakumbh of 2025 will also be bigger and grander than all the previous Kumbhs. In this biggest gathering of the world, revered saints of Sanatan Dharma will be present. Gods and Goddesses, ancestors and holy souls associated with all the worlds will also come. The double engine government of BJP is fully committed to ensure that we all get the company of revered saints. Yogi Adityanath said that the double engine government is working with full commitment for the protection of every holy place which is associated with our Sanatan Dharma, Siddhas-Saints and incarnate men. Only by preserving the heritage will we be able to fulfill our wish for a bright future.
