Amrit Vichar, Prayagraj: Due to the special astronomical combination of planets and stars, all the Akharas are entering the camp in the Mahakumbh Mela area as per the date and tradition for the divine grand event of Mahakumbh 2025, which is falling after 144 years. In the same sequence, Shri Taponidhi Anand Akhara, who considers Lord Surya as his favorite deity, entered the camp in Mahakumbh on Monday as per tradition. Shri Taponidhi Anand Akhara of Shaiva tradition, Naga Sannyasis, Acharya, Mandaleshwar, Mahamandaleshwar riding on elephants, horses, chariots, camels entered the fair area with musical instruments. While the city and fair administration welcomed the monks and nuns by garlanding them and showering flowers on their entry journey to the cantonment, the people of Prayagraj also got the rare darshan and blessings of the Naga monks.
The protector of Sanatan Dharma and culture Shri Taponidhi Anand Akhade on Monday entered the divine-grand camp in the fair area of Mahakumbh 2025 as per tradition and order. The Cantonment Entry Yatra of Anand Akhara started from Math Baghambari Gaddi and reached Alopi Devi intersection via Matiya Road from Labor intersection of Bharadwajapuram. The cantonment entry procession from Alopi Devi took a turn from Dashashwamedh Ghat of Darangaj and entered the Sangam area passing under Shastri Bridge. The Cantonment Yatra was welcomed by the residents and city administration by showering flowers at various places. During the cantonment visit in Sangam area, the officials of the fair administration welcomed and felicitated the monks and nuns of the Akhara and the Mandleshwars and Mahamandleshwars.

In the grand procession of Anand Akhara, the religious flag was flying at the forefront along with musical instruments. Behind him, a group of Naga ascetics, protectors of religion, were walking carrying the idol of the presiding deity Lord Surya with spears, lances and swords in their hands. In the Cantonment entry procession, Lord Surya was carrying Guru Nishan which was established in the amphitheater of the fair area. Acharya of the Akhara, Mandleshwar, Mahamandleshwar were adding glory to the Cantonment Yatra by riding on their respective chariots, elephants and horses along with the slogans of Lord Surya. During the Cantonment Yatra, under the guidance of Akhara President Shankaranand Giri, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Balkanand Giri, Mahamandaleshwar Surendranand Giri, Secretary Kalu Giri Maharaj of Bareilly as well as lady Mahamandaleshwar Sadhvi Manju, Shri Ji etc. sages and saints blessed the city residents in the fair area. The cantonment entry journey of Shri Taponidhi Anand Akhara was the last entry journey in the order of Naga Sannyasis. After this, the cantonment entry of Vaishnav Bairagi Akhara, Udaasin and Nirmal Akhara will take place according to tradition and date order. After the cantonment entry visit of Anand Akhara, after reaching the Akhara premises in Sangam area in the evening, the first thing to be done was to install the religious flag. After this, the monks and nuns of the Akhara established the temple of the presiding deity Lord Surya in the Akhara amidst chanting of mantras. All the saints of the Akhara proclaimed the pledge to protect Sanatan Dharma and world welfare and chanted Jai to Lord Surya and Ganga Maiyya.
