Amrit Vichar, Prayagraj: This time in the Maha Kumbh, a glimpse of the widespread presence and culture of Satras i.e. Ashrams of the North-Eastern states is being seen. Here Satradhikar is going to be organized in the tradition of Namghar based on Assamese culture. This time all the traditions of the North-East are coming to participate in the Mahakumbh. Yogi government has invited the saints of North-East by giving them the status of state guest. Special preparations are being made for this in Prag Jyotishpur area in the Mahakumbh complex and the events will start here from January 12.
Cultures of seven states are being displayed
Mahant Mahamandaleshwar Swami Keshav Das Maharaj of Yogashram Bihlangini Assam told that Namghar is being built in Prag Jyotishpur area of Mahakumbh. This is happening for the first time in Kumbh. Satradhikar will stay here and participate in the royal bath. There will be religious meetings. There will be Akhand Bhagwat. It will run continuously for 7 days and 168 hours. It will start on 21st January and end on 27th January. An exhibition will be organized showcasing all the cultures of the seven states of North East. In this exhibition, a holistic picture of the society, culture and religion of the North-East will be seen. The artists have arrived and are preparing it. This exhibition will be inaugurated on 12th January.
Model of Kamakhya is being built
He further said that Ram Vijay Bhavana will be staged in the event. This staging takes place on the lines of Ramlila. There will also be Manipuri dance Raas. A sessional dance will be organised. There will be Bambo dance of Nagaland. There will be Apsara dance. It is now under Satriya culture. Devotees will display their art in Mati Akhara. This is a type of tradition of yoga practice, whose form is different. A model of Kamakhya will be made and Kamakhya water will be distributed.
125 saints from North East invited as state guests
On the arrangements of the fair, he said that there are good arrangements. The fair administration is trying to ensure that all the saints are satisfied and get facilities. The kind of arrangements made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have impressed, satisfied and excited the heart. CM Yogi has invited 125 saints from North East as state guests. All of them are getting calls from the CM office. Their arrangements will be in our own Khalsa. Padma Shri awardee Chitta Maharaj of Tripura, along with ancient satras like Dakshina Pada Satra, Gadmur Satra will come and participate in the royal bath. Before this, Satradhikars had never participated in the royal bath at Kumbh and did not even stay. He will be respected by the Akharas. There will be a conversation with the saint community here. The camp in Prague Jyotishpur area is inaugurated on 12th. After that the programs will start. The way Kumbh is being organized on the instructions of CM Yogi, it has created publicity in the entire North East and people have become excited.
