Lucknow, Amrit Vichar. Organizing Mahakumbh 2025 is a challenge for the police. On the instructions of the government, the police administration has been busy in preparations for the last one year to conduct this festival safely. This time more preparations are being made in terms of area. About 40-50 crore devotees from India and abroad are expected to reach Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, in view of which elaborate security arrangements have been made. Instructions have been given to deploy trained police personnel on duty.
Giving information regarding Maha Kumbh Mela-2025, Director General of Police Prashant Kumar said that police personnel of bright and clean image have been deployed for strong security arrangements in Prayagraj. He told that the Maha Kumbh Mela will start from January 13, 2025. There will be three royal baths. In view of security, the Kumbh Mela premises will be monitored through CCTV and drones. DGP said that in view of the devotees coming to Kumbh after taking bath, visiting Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, Ramlala in Ayodhya and visiting Chitrakoot, adequate number of police forces have been made available for security arrangements in the respective districts. He said that strict monitoring will be done on the interstate and international borders, for this a letter has been written to the DGP of the states. DGP Prashant Kumar said that equipment worth about Rs 200 crore has been provided to Prayagraj administration. Apart from this, instructions have been given to take special vigilance regarding cyber crime. Social media has been made more cautious.
