Amrit Vichar Prayagraj: From government agencies, public representatives to all the citizens of the city, efforts are being made to implement the resolution of Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh for a divine, grand and clean Maha Kumbh. Swachh Rath Yatra was organized in the city carrying the message of Swachh Maha Kumbh, in which a large number of public participation was seen.
Swachh Rath Yatra awakened the spirit of Swachh Mahakumbh
The route to Mahakumbh Nagar passes through Prayagraj city. In such a situation, Swachh Rath Yatra was taken out in the city with the resolve that all the devotees and tourists coming to Mahakumbh would get a glimpse of clean Prayagraj when they pass through the city. Mayor of Municipal Corporation Prayagraj Umesh Chand Ganesh Kesharwani flagged off this yatra from Chowk Kotwali to give the message of Swachh Mahakumbh. Mayor Ganesh Kesharwani says that the cleanliness chariot has been taken out in keeping with the resolve of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for a clean Mahakumbh. This Jan Jagran Yatra has been taken out to ensure that Prayagraj becomes clean, healthy and disciplined. People are being appealed not to throw garbage here and there, use dustbins, not use single use plastic. There is immense cooperation from the local citizens in this.

This Swachhta Rath Yatra was taken out by the Municipal Corporation Prayagraj from Kotwali Chowk of the city. In this, a grand statue of Mother Ganga in a huge clean chariot along with a sculpture of sadhus symbolizing Mahakumbh decorated with trees and plants was prepared. It was taken around different routes of the city. The Rath Yatra ended at Ram Bhawan intersection. In this Swachhata Rath Yatra, street theater artists carrying dustbins of different colors in front of the chariot were giving their performances and giving the message to the people to use different colored dustbins for dry and wet garbage. The Rath Yatra was welcomed wherever it passed. A large number of Safai Mitras and Municipal Corporation workers were also present in the Rath Yatra.
