Makar Sankranti puja material-
For the worship of Makar Sankranti, include a ladle of black sesame seeds, jaggery or black sesame seeds, donated food items include rice, pulses, bhaji or khichdi, sesame seeds, sesame laddus, jaggery etc. After this, cow’s ghee, Saptadhya i.e. seven types of grains or wheat, copper vessel, red sandalwood, red clothes, red flowers and fruits, lamp, incense, camphor, naivedya, perfume etc. After this, Chalisa of Lord Suryadev, Aarti of Suryadev and book of Aditya Hridaya Stotra.

Auspicious time to donate bath-
Let us tell you that the festival of Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on 14 January. On this day, it will be auspicious to take a bath during the Mahapunya period from 9.03 am to 10.48 am. If you are not able to donate bath during this Muhurta, then during the auspicious time, you can donate bath any time between 9.03 am in the morning and 5.46 pm in the evening.
