Soronji, Amrit Vichar: On the full moon day of Margashirsha month, there was a flood of devotion in the pilgrimage city of Soron. The ghats echoed with the sound of Har Har Ganga. The atmosphere seemed devotional all around. Everyone seemed immersed in faith. Faith outweighed the cold. A large number of devotees were seen at the ghats. Religious rituals took place on the ghats. The priests performed the puja as per the rituals. Devotees earned virtuous benefits by donating Dakshina.
The entire pilgrimage city echoed with the praises of Mother Ganga. After bathing in Ganga, devotees also had darshan of God. Sunday was the full moon day. Lakhs of devotees from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and many other districts of the state reached Soronji town. In the morning, during Brahma Muhurta, a crowd of devotees gathered at the ghat of Hari Ki Pauri. Devotees took a dip in the holy water of Hari Ki Pauri with chants of Har Har Gange.
A flood of devotees was visible at all the ghats of Hari Ki Pauri including Varah Ghat, Lal Ghat, Manas Ghat, Someshwar Ghat, Bariwala Ghat, Tulsi Ghat. Devotees worshiped Mother Ganga and offered milk. The sages and saints performed the aarti of Mother Ganga. Devotees also circumambulated Hari Ki Pauri Ghat. After bathing in the Ganges, the devotees came to see the God.

Devotees reached Varaha temple and had darshan of Lord Varaha Lakshmi and sought blessings for the prosperity of the family. Apart from this, devotees also reached Lord Shyam Varah Temple, Raghunath Temple, Ganpati Temple, Balaji Darbar, Dwarkadhish, Batuknath, Siddha Hanuman, Someshwar, Yogeshwar, Panchmahashakti Temple for devdarshan and wished for the well-being of the family.
vehicles crawling due to traffic jam
Due to Ganga bathing on the full moon day of Margashirsha Mela, there was traffic jam at many places due to the vehicles of devotees. Traffic personnel and civil police personnel worked hard to get rid of the jam. Vehicles remained stuck in traffic jam for hours. Vehicles were seen moving crawling. There was a traffic jam from Kasganj to Soron.
Bhandaras held at various places on Purnima festival
On the occasion of Purnima festival, lakhs of devotees reached the pilgrimage town of Soron to take a bath in the Ganga. Where he offered prayers after bathing in the Ganges. Bhandaras were organized at various places by social workers. People earned virtuous benefits by feeding vegetable puris in the Bhandara. During this period a large number of people participated in the stores. Municipality Chairman Rameshwar Dayal Mahare provided food to the saints and distributed clothes and gave them Dakshina.
