Regarding Navratri, devotees have also shopped books, calendar and idols for text including mother’s clothes, postures. There was a crowd at the shops of worship material. People were seen liking the idols of mother at the shops of worship. Devotees have made preparations for the installation of idols and urns made of stone from soil.
Buyers in the showroom too
Buyers were seen in large showrooms of areas like Aminabad, Hazratganj, Alambagh, Bhootnath Market, Gomtinagar etc. At the beginning of Navratri, the markets have started to look bright. There is also a festival of Eid. In such a situation, there is a huge crowd at clothing shops.
Flower prices bounced, jata coconut also booms
Marigold flower prices used in worship have started bounce. The marigold flower sold for Rs 40 kg has gone up by above 60 rupees a kg. Wholesaler Mo. Zeeshan Khan says that the flower will be expensive for a few days now. At the same time, the rose flower with 50 to 60 rupees kg has now reached 80 to 100 rupees. Lotus flower is 20 to 25 rupees per piece. At the same time, a coconut with a jata sold for 30 rupees is being sold at Rs 50 per piece.
