Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev: Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Guru of Sikhism, was celebrated in Gurdwara Lajpat Nagar. The program started with Sahaj recitation from Sunday, which concluded on Friday. Prasad of syrup was distributed to the Sangat coming and going outside the Gurudwara complex. The children presented Shabad Kirtan.
Hujuri Ragi Jatha Bhai Tirath Singh performed Kirtan Bhajan. In the special Diwan, brother Jaspreet Singh, who came from Batinda, threw light on the life of Guru ji through Kirtan. Guru Arjan Dev Ji is known as Brahmagyan. He edited Gurugranth Sahib with the help of Bhai Gurdas. The highest speech in Gurugranth Sahib is of the fifth Guru. He made a unique classification of the consciences in Granth Sahib on the basis of ragas. The program ended with the lesson of Anand Sahib. After this, the anchor of the Guru was distributed, in which people of all religions sat in a pang and received offerings.
In the program, the head of the gurudwara manager committee, Sardar Bhupendra Singh, Sardar Charanjit Singh, Sardar Ravindrapal Singh, Sardar Harpal Singh, Sardar Ravinder Singh, Sardar Rajdeep Singh, Sardar Preet Singh, Sardar Prempal Singh, Sardar Ranbir Singh, Sardar Jasbir Singh, Sardar Paramjit Singh, Sardra Kaur, Kavitjit Kaur, Ranjit Kaur, Ramjit Kaur, Ramjit Kaur, Ramjit Kaur, Surjeet, Other members of the committee and a large number of devotees were present, including Kaur, Narendra Kaur, Inderjit Kaur, Charanjit Gaba, Sardar Harpreet Singh, Sardar Manmeet Singh Sonu, Ravinan Treasurer, Ankit Vaishya, Malkit Singh, Tanmeet Singh, Amarjeet Singh Raje, Harvinder Singh and Tanpreet Singh Raunak.
Distribution of cold sweet water
Martyrdom Day of Pancham Guru Arjan Dev was celebrated with reverence on Friday by Gurdwara Satsang Sabha of Nagar Panchayat area. Cold fresh water was distributed in Bhitaria by Sardar Nirmal Singh Saluja. Mahendra Singh Saluja, Rinkal Singh, Harjot Singh (Kakku), Ravi Singh, and other Sikh community were present on the occasion.
