Lucknow, Amrit Views: Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh said that 1000 additional buses will be run in this area by the Transport Corporation to reach the Mudia Purnima Mela starting in Mathura from Friday 4 July. He informed that 250 buses from Agra region, 150 buses from Aligarh area, 150 buses from Ghaziabad area, 100 buses from Meerut area, 150 buses from Etawah area, 100 buses from Moradabad area and 100 buses from Bareilly area will be operated.
The Transport Minister said on Thursday that the Government Mudiya Purnima Govardhan Mela is to be celebrated from July 4 to July 11, the main festival is on 10 July. He informed that the entire fair has been divided into seven sectors. In each sector, the assistant regional manager level officer will be made in charge. Minister Daya Shankar Singh has given instructions to keep cleanliness in buses and bus stations, as well as said that the passengers should not have any kind of inconvenience, special care should be taken. Information related to the movement of buses should be displayed through LED screen, control room should be set up and toll-free number should also be issued, which works for 24 hours.
Apart from this, the Transport Minister said that only fit buses should be operated in the fair, alert should be alerted to the technical team, which immediately reach any breakdown or bus malfunction and give proper results. Cranes were also available at sensitive points.
MD Transport Corporation informed that buses of Government Mudiya Purnima Mela will be operated from Bhuteshwar bus station and railway gate no-2 at Malgodam. The fare from Mathura to Govardhan will be 50 rupees.
