Barabanki, Amrit Views: In view of the huge crowd in Ayodhya on Mauni Amavasya, the Barabanki police administration also maintained tight security on Wednesday. All the vehicles going to Ayodhya were stopped at six places from Lucknow border to Ramsanehighat. Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh himself took the front and kept taking stock of the traffic system throughout the day.
Police returned vehicles in Mohammadpur outpost, Chaupula Tiraha, Safdarganj, Dilona and Ramsnehighat. Policemen were deployed on every major route on the highway, so that no vehicle could go to Ayodhya by any cut or other way. SP Dinesh Kumar Singh was present with heavy police force at Chaupula Tirahe, where Dr. Akhilesh Narayan Singh and jurisdiction Fatehpur Jagatram Kannaujia were also present.
During the traffic system, some devotees also got the tip of the policemen, but the police made them aware of the situation in Ayodhya and turned them towards the Bahraich highway. About 40 thousand vehicles were diverted on the Bahraich highway throughout the day, which also increased the pressure on this route. In view of this situation, the Ramnagar and the draft police were also kept on alert. According to the SP, traffic diversion will continue even further in view of the circumstances of Ayodhya.
Diversion remained applied to Ghaghra Bridge
The system of diversion of vehicles going towards Barabanki was also applicable to the Ghaghra bridge on the border of Bahraich district. SP Dinesh Kumar Singh reached Chaukaghat and took stock of the diversion system and inspected the dilapidated bridge on the route from here and instructed all the small vehicles going to Gonda Bahraich Lucknow Barabanki to be diverted on Safdarganj Highway via Markamau Baddosarai.
In Ramnagar, big vehicles were also diversified towards Fatehpur. The path of Chinhat was determined from Fatehpur to Deva. During the inspection, SP Dinesh Kumar Singh along with Additional Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Narayan Singh, Police Officer Jagat Ram Kanaujia and Inspector Ajay Kumar Tripathi were present.
