In the mythological and historic pilgrimage site of Uttar Pradesh, more than 15 lakh devotees took a dip in the Mandakini river on the auspicious occasion of Bhadahi Amavasya today and revolved around Kamadgiri. There is a crowd of devotees all around in Chitrakoot. The police administration has also kept the arrangements chalk. Four special trains and more than 200 buses have also been run for the arrangements of devotees.
The entire fair area is divided into six zones. The fair official said that from yesterday evening, people started taking a dip in the Mandakini river and orbiting Kamadgiri. Today, a large number of devotees were present on the banks of Ramghat in Mandakini from morning. The police officer said that in terms of security, a large amount of female police and male police have been deployed without uniforms. Dog squad has been arranged.
There is a bomb disposal squad. Police divers have also been deployed to give the devotees strict instructions not to go on much deep water in the river. Mahant Ramswaroopacharya of the main gate told that by taking a bath in Mandakini in the Amavasya of Bhadas, revolving around Kamadgiri gives you the desired fruit.
On the day of Amavasya, Goswami Tulsidas ji saw Lord Shri Ram Lakshmana Sita. Even today people have been considering this belief with this feeling. The devotees are confident that by taking a bath in the Mandakini river on this day and orbiting Kamadgiri, the grace of Lord Shri Ram is attained. The number of devotees is said to be much more than the previous years.
