More than 18 lakh devotees visited Shaktipeeths during Navratri

Amrit thoughts. During the recently concluded Navratri festival, more than 18.85 lakh pilgrims visited Shaktipeeths in Himachal Pradesh. The police gave this information on Thursday. According to data shared by the police, the maximum 7.82 lakh devotees visited Jwala Ji Temple in Kangra district.

This was followed by Mata Bala Sundari Temple (3.42 lakh), Naina Devi Temple (3.20 lakh) in Bilaspur, Baglamukhi Temple (1.30 lakh) in Kangra, Chintpurni Temple (1.23 lakh) in Una, Brijeshwari Devi Temple (96,850) and Chamunda Devi Temple (89,000).

A statement issued by the Police Headquarters said that traffic data showed that 15,481 heavy motor vehicles, 66,996 light motor vehicles and 55,718 two -wheelers entered these cities during this period. According to the Hindu calendar, the Navratri festival was celebrated from 30 March to 6 April.
