Maa Kalratri is considered to be the seventh form of Maa Durga in Hinduism. The form of the mother is black and extremely terrible as the night. According to a legend, when the Asuras named Shumbha-Nishumbh, Chand-Mund and Raktabij created terror in the three worlds. He attacked heaven and defeated Indradev and thrown the gods out of heaven. The terror of these demons created an outcry in the earth and heaven. When the gods did not think of any solution, they all approached Goddess Durga and prayed for safety. On this, Goddess Durga killed Chand-Mund.
Whenever the mother hit the blood seed, whenever the mother used to hit it, the blood flowed and wherever the drops of blood fall, the second blood seed would be produced and her number would increase. On this, Mata Durga became angry and a terrible Kali Devi appeared in her anger. The form of these goddesses was so terrible and powerful that all directions trembled.

Mother killed blood seeds
Mother Kalratri attacked Raktabij and whatever blood came out of it, the mother drank it with her long tongue. He did not let a single drop of blood of that demon fall down. Due to this, new blood seeds could not arise and that demon ended. After the bloodbies, the mother also killed the Shumbha-Nishumbh demon.

A person who worships Maa Kalratri gets freedom from all kinds of fear. By worshiping the Goddess, the defects of Shani and Rahu are eliminated.
