Muharram 2025: Hazrat Qasim's henna originated from Shan-O-Shaukat

Amrit Vichar, Lucknow: A procession of royal henna was taken out from Asifi Imambara on seventh Moharram. In this procession to be taken out by the Hussainabad Trust, people riding on lanterns, royal bajas, shehnai, sabil, elephants and camels, children carrying flags and a jawan procession wearing royal uniforms were also making royal.

Hazrat Imam Hasan’s 13-year-old son Hazrat Qasim’s henna came out with full glory-o-shaukat, and Nauha was echoing in the procession:-Bea Shabbar’s cry. My child comes on henna, people do it, why aho-jari comes to my child’s henna.

Hazrat Qasim’s henna came out with the same glory as henna is sent at the time of marriage. Henna was accompanied by fruits, nuts and Malida. In the procession, the PAC soldiers were playing the tune of the nauhe on the band. Leaving the big Imambara, the procession reached the small Imambara in late night, via Rumi Gate, Ghantaghar and Rais Manzil. During the procession, a large number of Sabils were arranged on the path of the procession. Senior police and administration officials were present with the procession. Police, PAC and RRF were deployed for security. The drone camera was eyeing the entire area.

A procession of henna was taken out from Sherga Park in Kashmiri Mohalla to Dargah Hazrat Abbas. In front of the procession, children were walking with flags in their hands. The procession included henna as well as alam, coffin, Hazrat Ali Asgar’s swing and Juljana. In the procession, young children were saying empty kujas to be called Hi-Hi Kasim. Jannat Mab Society presented the heart of Janabe Qasim in Imambara Taki Saheb Chowk. Henna was also performed in Munsari, a mosque in Shahganj.
