When is Ashtami of Navratri 2024-
According to Astrologer Pandit Narendra Upadhyay, this year Ashtami and Navami Tithi will be celebrated on the same day during Navratri. The reason behind which is the decrease and increase in dates. Ashtami will start after 12:30 pm on 10th October, hence Saptami Tithi is also available on this day. According to Hindu scriptures, observing fast on Ashtami Tithi including Saptami is prohibited, hence Ashtami fast will be observed on the next day i.e. 11th October and Navami will also be celebrated on this day. This year Ashtami and Navami are falling on the same day.
When and how long is Ashtami Tithi – Ashtami Tithi will start on October 10, 2024, at 12:31 pm and will end on October 11 at 12:06 pm.
