On this day, devotees worship Lord Vishnu duly and also observe fasts etc. According to the Panchang, two Ekadashi fasts are observed every month.
There are a total of 24 Ekadashis in a year. Currently, the month of Margashirsha is going on and the Ekadashi falling in this month is known as Utpan Ekadashi. By doing puja and fasting on this day, one gets virtuous results and the problems of life go away. This time the fast of Utpanna Ekadashi will be observed on Tuesday, 26th November, so today we are telling you the worship method.
Worship method of Utpanna Ekadashi-
Let us tell you that on the day of Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and take bath etc. After this, wear clean clothes and take water, rice and flowers in hand and resolve to fast and worship. Now clean the place of worship and place a wooden stool. After this, in an auspicious time, spread a red cloth on it and install the idol of Lord Vishnu. Apply tilak to the idol of God and offer garland and flowers and also light a ghee lamp.
Offer things like Abir, Roli, sandalwood, turmeric, rice etc. to God and chant the mantra Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Namah during the puja. After the puja, offer food to God as per your wish. Make sure to add basil in it. Now perform the aarti of the Lord duly and follow the rules of fasting throughout the day. Break the fast the next day and donate to the poor. It is believed that by observing Ekadashi fast with this method, all troubles go away and happiness and peace remains in the house.
