Barabanki: Amrit thoughts. On the third Monday of Sawan, a wonderful confluence of reverence and devotion was seen at the historic pilgrimage site of Mahabharata period in Ramnagar. From midnight, every bomb bomb in the pagoda started echoing and about five lakh devotees worshiped Lord Shiva and worshiped Lord Shiva. On this auspicious occasion, Jalabhishek was celebrated in all the small and big pagoda of the district. Devotees took kanvad, barefoot and punished Lord Bholenath.
Sawan’s humidity and scorching heat could not be determined by his faith. Former MLA Sharad Awasthi increased his enthusiasm by showering flowers on Bhikonadis. During this time, the temple complex resonated with every bomb bomb and cheers of every Har Mahadev. Long queues of devotees continued in the entire Mahadeva region including the temple complex. Devotees from many districts including Kannauj, Ghatampur, Mahoba, Orai, Kanpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Gonda, Bahraich, Sitapur, Unnao, Hardoi reached the Mahadeva city by reaching the Mahadeva city by reaching the main means, jeeps, bikes, trains etc. The order of worship, which started from Sunday evening, continued uninterrupted till late Monday night.
In view of the huge crowd, the administration made strong security arrangements. On the instructions of District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi and Police Captain Arpit Vijayvargiya, the security system was strengthened through drone cameras, CCTV and barricading. Additional Superintendent of Police Vikas Chandra Tripathi, SDM Viveksheel Yadav, CO Garima Pant and other administrative officials themselves stayed in the field and continuously inspected the fair area. In the markets in the fair area, devotees were seen shopping for vermilion, bindi, offerings and worship materials. Especially women were busy shopping in large numbers.
Queues started since morning
The Nageshwar Nath temple in the city started coming with the devotees at the morning. Siddheshwar Mahadev, Chandreshwar Mahadev, Dhanokhar Temple in Matteshwar Mahadev and other pagoda including Lakhpedabagh Shiva temple also lasted long queues of Shiva devotees from morning till late night for Jalbhishek and worship.
Mass Rudrabhishek took place in Kailash Ashram
On Monday morning at Kailash Ashram, Acharya collectively conducted Rudrabhishek with Buddhist chanting. Devotees anointed Mahadev with honey, P. Velpatra, flower, dug, Bhasma, cannabis, sandalwood, perfume, Ganga water, milk etc. On the one hand, Jalabhishek in the temple on the other side, in the collective Rudrabhishek, the whole atmosphere appeared devotional with the mantras of the echo.
