The holy festival of Ganga Dussehra 2025 will be celebrated in a very auspicious yoga this year. This festival is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. This day is considered to be the day of descent on the earth of Goddess Ganga. According to mythological beliefs, bathing in the river Ganges on the day of Ganga Dussehra destroys 10 types of sins and a person gets divine virtue.
