According to religious beliefs, the craftsman Vishwakarma Ji was born on this day. On this auspicious occasion, performing Vishwakarma Puja is considered beneficial as doing so brings desired results. This year, Vishwakarma Jayanti will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17 September, i.e. tomorrow.
On this day people worship their vehicles, machines, tools, spare parts, shops etc. and express their gratitude to the divine architect of the universe, Lord Vishwakarma, by worshipping him ritually. On the day of Vishwakarma Jayanti, one must recite the Aarti of Lord Vishwakarma during the Puja.
