Date and time of Masik Shivratri: According to Drik Panchang, Krishna Chaturdashi Tithi of Ashwin month will start on 30th September at 7:06 pm and will end on 01st October at 09:39 am. In such a situation, according to Drik Panchang, Masik Shivratri will be celebrated on 30th September. Abhijit Muhurta on this day will be from 11:47 am to 12:35 pm. Twilight Muhurta will be from 06:08 pm to 06:32 pm. Both these Muhurtas are considered auspicious for worship.

Monthly Shivaratri Puja Vidhi
Get up early in the morning. Take a bath and wear clean clothes and worship Lord Shiva in a proper manner. Perform Abhishekam of the Lord with five things including raw milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugarcane juice. Then you can offer white sandalwood, bhang, dhatura, shami leaf, white flower, black sesame, akshat and belpatra on the Shivling. After this, light a ghee lamp and do the aarti of Lord Shiva. Offer food to the Lord. Now recite Shiv Chalisa. By doing this recitation, all the sorrows and pains in life can be removed. In the end, do pray for forgiveness.
