Pradosh Kaal Time
Lord Shiva is worshiped at night. In such a situation, the auspicious time of worshiping Shiva on Som Pradosh fast will be from 07.22 pm to 09.23 pm. Worshiping Lord Shiva in these 2 hours will prove to be fruitful. According to the Panchang, Dhriti Yoga will be from 01.17 pm, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will be from 03.16 pm to 05.25 am on June 24.
Worship method
After taking bath, the person should wear clean clothes and worship other deities including Shiva family. If you are fasting, then take a pledge to keep fast with holy water, flowers and rice in your hand. Then in the evening light a lamp at the dignity in the temple of the house. Then do Jalabhishek or Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva in Shiva temple or house and worship. After this, recite the story of Som Pradosh Vrat. Finally worship Lord Shiva with full devotion and in the end ask for apologies for any mistake in worship. After this, the native can also chant Shiva Gayatri Mantra.
