According to religious beliefs, the date of Ekadashi is one of the favourite dates of Lord Vishnu, the saviour of the world, and it is considered beneficial to perform Puja and fasting during this time. It is believed that worshipping on Ekadashi removes sorrows, troubles and problems. According to the Panchang, the month of Bhadrapad is going on right now and the Ekadashi falling in this month is known as Parivartini Ekadashi, which is being celebrated today, i.e. on Saturday, 14 September. Parivartini Ekadashi worship method—
Let us tell you that today on Ekadashi, after waking up in the morning and taking bath etc., wear clean clothes, then meditate on Lord Vishnu, if possible, wear yellow clothes on this day. Now clean the temple, after this take a vow to fast. Then spread yellow cloth on the platform and install the idol of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi and offer them a flower garland.
After this, light a ghee lamp and perform Aarti as per the rituals, chant the mantras of God, recite Vishnu Chalisa and Vrat Katha, now offer Panchamrit, fruits etc. to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi and ask for forgiveness for the mistakes, after this say your prayers. It is beneficial to break the Ekadashi fast on Dwadashi Tithi.
Chant these mantras on Ekadashi-
1. Om Shri Tripuray Vidmahe Tulsi Patray Dheemahi Tanno: Tulsi Prachodayat.
2. Om Tulsidevayai cha Vidmahe, Vishnupriyaai cha Dhimahi, Tanno Vrinda Prachodayat.
3. Tulsi Shrirmahalakshmirvidyavidya yashaswini.

Labhte sutra bhaktimante vishnupadam labhet.
