Rama and Laxman killed Kirtivir and took a bath in the Gomti river, since then the name of this ghat became Ram Ghat.

According to beliefs, Yamadagni Rishi was very angry. Parashurama was a father devotee. One day his father ordered his mother Renuka to be separated from the torso. Parashuram immediately beheaded the mother’s head with his ax, then Yamadagni said, what a boon you want, Parashuram said that if you want to give a boon, then make my mother alive. Yamadagni Rishi revived Renuka on the strength of penance. After being alive, Mother Renuka said that Parashuram you took off the debt of your mother’s milk. In this way, Parashurama is the only one in the whole world who has become free from maternal and father debt.
Amazing coordination of weapons and scriptures
Parashurama had destroyed only the Kshatriyas with the then demonic tendency. If they wanted to destroy all the Kshatriyas, they would not have given their bow to Lord Rama, if they did not give a bow, Ravana would not have been killed. There is amazing coordination of weapons and scriptures in Parashurama. Overall, in the Jamaatha of Jaunpur, his mother Renuka’s Akhando is now present today, where people offer prayers.
