According to the Hindu calendar, Pitru Paksha begins on the full moon day of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadrapad and ends on the new moon day of the month of Ashwin. This year, it will begin on 17 September and end on 3 October. During this time, people remember their ancestors and perform tarpan, shraddha and pinddaan for them. It is believed that if the ancestors get angry, life becomes very painful. The anger of ancestors can create upheaval in life. For a happy life, it is important for the ancestors to always be happy. When Pandit Gomti Shankar of Lucknow was talked to about this, he told that there are some signs that indicate the displeasure of ancestors.
Importance of Shraadh in Pitru Paksha
It is believed that our ancestors come to earth during Pitru Paksha. In such a situation, all kinds of rituals should be performed to please them. This gives relief from Pitra Dosh and blessings of ancestors are received. All kinds of problems are removed from life and happiness and prosperity come.
Pitru displeasure gives indication
1. If you have been thinking of doing some work for many days, but you are constantly facing some obstacles in it. Despite hard work, you are not getting success in the work, then it means that the ancestors are angry with you.
2. If hair comes out frequently while eating food with you or any of your family members, then never ignore it. According to Hindu belief, this is an important sign of displeasure of ancestors.
3. If there is a lot of fight and estrangement in your house without any reason. There is unnecessary conflict between the family members, then this can also be a reason for Pitra Dosh.
4. Any disruption in festivals or auspicious works or any inauspicious event is also a sign of displeasure of ancestors. This means that your ancestors are unhappy with you.
How to overcome resentment
Smiling pictures of ancestors should be put in the house. This makes them happy, but keep in mind that the picture of ancestors should be put on the south-west wall of the house or in any corner. This will give you special blessings from ancestors. During Pitru Paksha, do Tarpan, Shradh or Pinddaan for ancestors. Feed Brahmins according to the date of ancestors.
